High in the mountains of Costa Rica, on the slopes of Po\u00e1s Volcano and Barva Volcano, Cafe Rosa Blanca opens onto 12 hectares (30 acres) of rich volcanic soil and shade-grown, high-altitude organic coffee. Here you will find Arabica varietals including Gesha, Caturra and Obat\u00e1 varietals, with some guest appearances from Catua\u00ed,\u00a0 Catimor and the rare Marseilles coffee.<\/p>\n

For nearly 200 years, coffee has stood as both source and symbol of Costa Rican prosperity: The crop that built a nation \u2013 and, famously, our spectacular Neo-Baroque, Parisian-designed National Theater (Teatro Nacional) \u2013 coffee today represents our heritage, culture, and culinary tradition.<\/p>\n

Explore Cafe Rosa Blanca and its organic\u00a0 coffee tour in Costa Rica, complete with an expert guide and farm and walk through our shaded fields and forests, home to over 140 bird species.
