Coffee Tour & Cupping

Walk our tree-shaded plantation and become an expert on organic coffee, from seed to harvest, on our signature Finca Rosa Blanca coffee tour. You will visit our “Beneficio” (production plant) where we process the coffee cherry, including removing the fruit from the coffee beans. We then dry the coffee beans on the “Parihuelas“, African beds or hammocks, until they are ready to store. When we are ready to roast the beans we have to take off the “Pergamino” a paper-like natural bean wrapper and then sort the beans by size and weight. We utilize all of the coffee fruit possible: the discarded pulp from the coffee cherry is dried and later, we grind it into a delicious flour for use in baking.
